Good questions.
Is SSAI Scanning free?
Yes. Scanning, cataloging, price lookups, wishlists and cloud backup are free. The free plan has a daily scan allowance and shows a small banner ad on a few screens; a membership removes both.
Do I need an account?
No. The app works fully without one and keeps your collection on your phone. Create an account only if you want private cloud backup or a membership that follows you to a new device.
Do my card photos get uploaded?
No. Cards are recognized on your iPhone against a catalog that ships with the app. Photos are only stored in the cloud if you sign in and use backup. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
Where do prices come from?
From third-party market-data sources for trading cards. Prices are estimates for information only — always check a current sale before you buy or sell.
Which cards are supported?
Pokémon TCG in English and Japanese, including sealed products and many promos. Riftbound: League of Legends TCG support is in development.
How do I cancel a membership?
On your iPhone, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → SSAI Scanning. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. More help is on the Support page.
